About Us

Hi, my name is Robin and I bought this website in early 2009. It was hacked about a month after I bought it and I struggled with various companies to get it fixed, but it never recovered. I had to close down the old site for safety/security reasons for customers. I built a new website and went "live" with the new site on Sept. 15, 2010. We offer sales to Wholesalers, Dropshippers and Retail Customers.

Please also take time to check out the other tabs/sections listed on the right side - like the FAQ, Dropship/Wholesale and Shipping sections - I've put a lot of information there to help you out.

At this time, I'm running this show by myself. Please make every effort to contact me by email. I'm not able to take personal calls or use the computer for personal use at work.

I work and have found email correspondence works best for me. If you have questions, please email me. DO NOT USE THE "Contact Us" button. It doesn't work right and I've never been able to get it to work.

Therefore, at this time, items/item sizes not in-stock and all NEW items I'm listing will require up to a 2-week turnaround sewing time. If I'm able to get an order done sooner, I'll do so. Items to be made are put in the "to make queue" and made in the order they come in. ALL orders must be paid for BEFORE I will add them to the sewing queue and BEFORE I will sew them. Rush orders are available for $50 (1-3 day turnaround).

All pre-made hat orders will be a 2-3 day turnaround, unless part of an order that has a sewing item. All Sombreros will be a 1-2 day turnaround, unless part of an order that has a sewing item.

Effective August 31, 2010, we became primarily a Dropship Company. This allowed a better DS Discount, which allows better competition for my customers' websites. The Small Wholesale Purchase Program has been discontinued and there is no longer a minimum dollar or item purchase requirement.

Wholesale orders will be quoted on an as-requested basis, so I can get a better price for high quantity fabric purchases.

We have more new items to be added in the near future. Fun fabrics, patterns and more colors too. Create an account and check the "Newsletter subscription" box to keep informed of new items, fabrics and fabric colors/patterns when they're added.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT NEWSLETTERS: If you are an NSR (Dropship) Customer, you are responsible to keep your website updated with item update info I send in Newsletters. Failure to do so doesn't require me to adjust my prices to fit your pricing, and I will no longer be doing it.

If at any time you wish to be "unsubscribed" from our Newsletters, you may go into your account and change that, you may contact me via email to make the change, or you may click on the "unsubscribe tab" to the right. HOWEVER, if you are an NSR (DS) Customer, selling my items on your site, and you choose not to receive the Newsletter, you are still responsible for all item/product/pricing updates. Again, I will no longer adjust pricing due to your lack of work.

If you change your email and don't update your account or send me an email & ask me to update your account with your new email address and I receive an email failure from sending Newsletters/emails that "your email no longer exists or can't be delivered", I will automatically delete your account.

How Alexis Creations got started - The Story of Alexis

Well, let's see. Let me start at the beginning. Mommy and Daddy named this great website after me and the new Owner, Robin, doesn't plan on changing that name!! I'm so happy!

My name is Alexis. According to the AKC (American Kennel Club), it is Alexis Montgomery Wong, but you can call me Alexis. I was born on September 18, 2002 in Cut 'n Shoot, Texas (yes, there really is a town by that name!). I was adopted by my human parents (Donna and John) on October 4, 2002 and I moved to The Woodlands, Texas, where I lived until June of 2004. That's when we moved to San Antonio, TX where I live now.

I am a Shih Tzu, which according to legend, my relatives originated in Tibet and were palace dogs. We sat on satin pillows and ran in marble courtyards. My ancestors were docile, but I am now 7 years old, and I still love to run and play in my backyard like I did when I was a puppy.

Two days after I came to my new home (I was only 8 weeks old) I got very sick with a disease the vet called Parvo. I had to spend almost a week in the hospital and have needles stuck in me and take lots of pills. My parents were very worried about me! But, I got better and came home. A few days after I was home, the vet called and said they had another puppy at the hospital that also had Parvo, and might die unless I could help. The puppy needed some of my blood, which was now full of antibodies to fight the disease. So, my parents talked it over with me and we decided that I would be a blood donor to help the other puppy (who got better after I did). Everyone was so proud of me for helping to save the puppy's life. They even thought about changing my name to "Angel," but I liked Alexis better, so they didn't.

I have decided, like many of my relatives, that my main purpose in life is to give love to my human parents. I give them lots of kisses and get really excited whenever I see them. They give me lots of love back, so it works out really nice. They let me sit on their laps, and sometimes in the morning after I have gone outside, I get to spend a little time with them on their bed. After I give them a lot of morning kisses, I curl up with them and sleep until they are ready to get up and fix my breakfast. They take me for long walks every day so I can explore everything in the neighborhood.

I am usually very playful, and love to play in mud puddles, but when I get dressed up in my clothes, I really like it. It makes me feel special, and I particularly like the attention I get from other people when they see me dressed up. It is fun, and I hope that your pets will also enjoy my clothing.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. You can see me in many of the different items, as I was an excellent model. I look forward to having you as a new customer!

You can see how cute I was as a puppy (who was getting well) in my Puppy Pictures in the Customer Photos Section.

Your Friend,
